Bid Validity Period

The period during which a submitted bid must remain valid and binding. Standard bid validity in South Africa is typically 90-120 days from the closing date. During this period, the bidder cannot withdraw or change their bid without consequences. If the evaluation takes longer, the procuring entity may request an extension of the validity period.
