CSD (Central Supplier Database)

The South African government's centralised database of registered suppliers, administered by National Treasury. CSD registration is required to do business with any national or provincial government department. It verifies tax compliance, company registration, B-BBEE status, and banking details. Registration is free at www.csd.gov.za.
