RFP (Request for Proposal)

A solicitation document issued when the procuring entity needs both a technical solution and pricing. Unlike RFQs, RFPs evaluate proposals on functionality, methodology, experience, and B-BBEE status in addition to price. Used for complex services, consulting, and IT projects where the scope requires professional expertise.
