SCM (Supply Chain Management)

The system used by government entities to manage procurement from demand planning through to contract management and payment. SCM in South Africa is governed by the MFMA (for municipalities) and PFMA (for national/provincial departments) and includes demand management, acquisition management, logistics management, and disposal management.
