Tender Description

BAVIAANS RIVER (RE-INVITE): CONSTRUCTION OF EROSION PROTECTION STRUCTURES IN BAVIAANS RIVER, GENADENDAL

Key Requirements & Special Conditions

							 The works, as described, is part of the Disaster Management Programme for the Baviaans River situated next to Genadendal, Western Cape. The bid will be a measured bid for the works described and is to include material, labour and machinery. The works must be completed within a 10-month (definition as defined further) contract period. The scope of works entails the construction of 29 (twenty-nine) gabion structures (groynes) in the Baviaans River over an approximate distance of 1300 metres. Bidders must have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 6 CE / 5 CE PE or higher.
