FOR THE PROVISION OF REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF GALLEY WASTE IN THE PORT OF DURBAN FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY- SIX (36) MONTHS

Key Requirements & Special Conditions

							TECHNICAL - PREQUALIFICATION CRITERIA

Attendance of compulsory briefing session.

A copy of a valid landfill site waste management license issued by the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE) for one of the two Class A (Hazardous) facilities (landfill site) in KwaZulu-Natal Province or Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Service provider and Landfill site owner.

A valid Third-Party Liability Cover.

A valid Scheduled Activities Permit (previously known as Scheduled Trade Permit) issued by eThekwini Municipality for handling and transportation of hazardous waste.
